Renewables in Electricity Markets

Pierre Pinson · Imperial College LondonfreeSource ↗

How a market clears when the product cannot be stored. Modules 1–6 are the market itself — day-ahead, intraday and balancing, ancillary services, and what renewables do to price. Modules 7–10 are renewable forecasting, which is a data-product skill rather than the AI power trade, so they are out of scope until a build needs them. The course is built on European market design; the US half, where datacenter load actually lands, is the next rung.
