Inngest

Durable execution for backend work. You write ordinary functions in your own codebase, mark the bits that must not be repeated as steps, and Inngest runs them as an event-driven workflow that survives crashes, restarts and deploys — retries, sleeps, waits, fan-out, concurrency and idempotency handled by the platform rather than by a queue you maintain. The same machinery is aimed at AI agents (AgentKit) and now carries an evaluation and observability layer: scoring of agent output, AI cost/latency dashboards, session grouping, and experiments against live production traffic.
