Payments for AI agents. A seller puts a price on an agent, API or MCP tool and Nevermined meters and charges each call; a buyer gives an agent a card or stablecoin budget with limits ("$25 max/call"), and the agent pays on its own. Settlement runs by card or USDC across the x402, MCP and A2A protocols. TypeScript and Python SDKs (@nevermined-io/payments, payments-py), a REST API and a CLI. A newer "Router" product lets one API key buy calls to outside AI services and pays for them through the same rails (https://nevermined.ai/ and https://nevermined.ai/docs/getting-started/overview, read 2026-09-29).
